In plain language

“Relapsed” means the cancer has come back after treatment. “Refractory” means it did not respond to treatment, or stopped responding.

CAR T-cell therapy is generally considered after other treatments have been tried.

The following information is for reference only. Final treatment decisions should be made by a qualified physician based on each patient's individual condition.

Diagnosis Confirmed relapsed or refractory B-cell malignancy, or relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
Prior treatment — lymphoma & leukemia At least two prior lines of systemic therapy.
Prior treatment — multiple myeloma Three or more prior lines, including a proteasome inhibitor and an immunomodulatory agent.
Performance status ECOG 0–1 generally required
Age 16 and over.

Two conditions carry an additional requirement

For two of these conditions, the approved indication in China is narrower than a prior-line count alone describes. Both requirements below are part of that approved indication.

Follicular lymphoma Refractory follicular lymphoma, or follicular lymphoma that has relapsed within 24 months, after at least two prior lines of systemic therapy.
Mantle cell lymphoma At least two prior lines of systemic therapy, including a Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor — a specific class of prior treatment, not only a number of lines.

You can start gathering these today. To assess your eligibility remotely, SinoUnited Health's team will review:

  • Medical history, including your treatment history and medication records
  • Pathology reports confirming your diagnosis
  • Bone marrow aspiration and genetic test results (including FISH, if available)
  • Recent laboratory results
  • Recent imaging — PET-CT, MRI or CT
  • Any other relevant records you have
